We’re now creating a new leadership role — the Career Development Coach — dedicated to helping our Service Technicians and field team reach their full potential. This role is about more than training; it’s about building relationships, deepening knowledge, and ensuring every technician feels supported in both their career and their personal growth.

Your New Role:

  • Create and deliver training programs that advance technical skills, customer service, and leadership abilities for Service Technicians
  • Stay current on equipment, tools, and best practices, ensuring the field team is always equipped with the latest knowledge
  • Work alongside Service Managers to support technicians’ career growth through mentorship, coaching, and feedback
  • Connect with team members on both a personal and professional level to foster trust, commitment, and long‑term retention
  • Act as a bridge between field teams and the office, ensuring strong communication and a unified Dyess culture
  • Develop pathways for certifications, continued education, and professional milestones
  • Celebrate wins, recognize progress, and help technicians see the bigger picture of their career with Dyess

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of HVAC industry experience with a solid understanding of service operations
  • Previous leadership, coaching, or training experience
  • Passion for education and mentorship — thrives by helping others succeed
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect personally and professionally
  • Adaptable, organized, and committed to building a culture of growth
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
