QAV Technician (Quality Assurance & Verification)

At Dyess Air & Plumbing, we’re proud to stand behind every HVAC system we install. To make sure our customers get the very best, we’re creating a new role on our team: the QAV Technician.

This position is all about quality, care, and customer confidence. The QAV Tech returns to homes and properties after a new installation to verify that everything was done right, double‑check the system, and answer any follow‑up questions the customer may have.

If you’ve got an eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a background in HVAC, this is a unique opportunity to put your expertise to work in a role that blends technical skill with customer service.

Your New Role:

• Perform post‑installation QAV (Quality Assurance Visits) visits to ensure systems were installed correctly and fully operational
• Verify equipment is set up and running according to Dyess standards and industry best practices
• Communicate with homeowners, answer follow‑up questions, and provide system education when needed
• Document findings and provide detailed feedback to the Install and Service teams
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and accurate records
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and codes
• Represent Dyess professionally on every visit — in both appearance and communication

REQUIREMENTS:

• HVAC experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail — “good enough” isn’t good enough here
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Able to pass a background check & drug screening
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
