Your New Role:
The Comfort Advisor will listen to the needs of our customers, work with them to determine the best new equipment to meet their needs, and do whatever is necessary to achieve department sales and capacity goals.
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
- Develop key client relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, facilitating smooth transfers to the installation team.
- Provide complete and accurate information about our products and pricing to create confident buyers.
- Get potential customers excited about Dyess Air & Plumbing and encourage them to spread the word.
- Become an expert in your market area, understanding the customer’s needs.
- Help set aggressive sales plans and propose expansions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by conducting quality inspections to ensure job completion as quoted.
- Strive for referrals on all jobs – 25% of leads should be generated from referrals.
- Properly manage the age and balances of your accounts receivable.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record in sales (preferred, but not required).
- History in HVAC (preferred, but not required).
- Financial acumen to determine job profitability and impact of operational activities.
- IT competency, with experience in Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Familiarity with local codes and ability to discuss HVAC product lines.
- Outgoing personality suitable for a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and positive attitude toward life.
