As an HVAC Install Helper, you'll work alongside experienced installers, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn the skills needed to grow into a successful HVAC professional. We provide the tools, training, and support. You bring the work ethic and willingness to learn!
Your New Role:
- Learn from the best: Work alongside experienced HVAC installers to learn proper installation techniques, equipment setup, and industry best practices.
- Be a team player: Assist your lead installer with installing, replacing, and setting up residential HVAC systems.
- Communication is key: Stay in sync with your lead installer, install manager, and teammates to keep every job running smoothly.
- Follow the system: Learn and follow Dyess's Service System to ensure quality workmanship and exceptional customer experiences.
- Keep things organized: Help maintain a clean, organized company truck, job site, and properly stocked inventory.
- Safety first: Follow company safety procedures and learn how to properly handle tools, equipment, and materials.
- Look the part: Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent Dyess with pride.
- Keep growing: Participate in ongoing training, develop your technical skills, and work toward industry certifications.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 0–2 years of HVAC experience; no prior experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with your lead installer and team
- Willingness to learn and follow Dyess's Service System
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized job site and assist with truck inventory
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
