What Your Photo Needs to Include
To enter the contest, please make sure your photo clearly shows:
- The manufacture date or the serial number plate
- Legible, easy-to-read text (no blurry or shadowed photos)
- The full water heater unit in the frame
Photo Tips:
- Use bright, direct lighting so the plate is easy to read
- Move in close enough for the date or serial number to be clear
- Wipe off the plate if it's dusty, dirty, or hard to read
- Take multiple photos or angles to be sure everything is visible

The manufacture date is located on a metal label or sticker on the side of the water heater - often near the top.
